Hygiene Kits

Many girls and women in Myanmar are unable to afford to buy feminine hygiene products. Because of this they are unable to attend school or work. The OzBurma team have had many community members help in sewing together reusable feminine hygiene kits. This work is now outsourced to a local group called "Days for Girls", named as such as it gives school and work days back to the girls. The OzBurma team has delivered many of these kits to the children's homes and slum areas they support. 

The OzBurma team is currently looking to raise funds to supply sewing machines and fabrics for workshops which will teach local Burmese women how to make these reusable kits for themselves during our visit in 2020.
